- nach dem Abitur verstärkte autodidaktische Beschäftigung
mit der Zeichenkunst und klassischer Fotografie

Background: A chair as stage - the visitor as an actor....
the photos were shot by the digital camera in random intervals, but the actor didn´t recognise as there was no flash used. After being shot, the photo was transfered to computer und printed on a laserjet automatically.
The printouts were given to the actors or pined on the walls.

Description/
Background: „Disco 2000" was produced – as indicated in the title – in a discotheque at the beginning of the year 2000.
The camera was fixed with a heavy tripod, the depth of field was defined through the telephoto lens and the pictures that evolved on the focusing screen were captured without changing the position of the camera.
After a few nosy questions out of the crowd, (what the hell I was doing there - I told them stories like casting for a soap opera or an sociological research and they swallowed it 8-)), the curiosity was satisfied and the people behaved as "normal" as every evening. So I could let the pictures compose themselfes and caught them watching the screen.
After developing, the material was sightended and, beside others, a selection of the so-produced pictures was chosen for a seven part series to form a feign panorama (as seen here).
„Lichtspiele" and „Disco 2000" were my contributions to the exhibition „Nach Cindy – Mit junger Kunst ins neue Jahrtausend" (After Cindy - with young art into the new milenium) at the Mönchehaus-Museum Goslar.

Description/
Background: This work dates back to 1998
I was in wait in a street café. I fixed the camera to a table and focused the telephoto lens with open aperture onto a fixed point to gain a small depth of field.
While observing the scene discretely through the focusing hood, people didn´t notice me, I took a photo whenever an interesting picture showed up on the focusing screen but without changing neither the position of the camera nor the focus area.
Afterwards I sightened the material and along with the two-part „Lichtspiele" (seen here) the project also resulted a leporello out of 12 parts. (Unfortunately it never got out of this model state, as I was running out of money. The original plan was cibachrome on sheets of metal.)

Background: This work ist available in two forms. The "consumer" version is availabe in single sheets on A3 format paper and the "collector" series only as complete set numbered, signed and printed on heavier paper in A3+ format

This pictures were taken during the last few years in Braunschweig (Germany) with my my Hasselblad and self adapted lenses (one russian and another very old german lens out of a large format camera on Kodak negative film.
After developing the negatives have been scanned and processed/printed out in a special way I call Epsonography.
